What happened to the Ark of the Covenant with the 10 commandments? Is it somewhere still today? God's presence is with us all today but are the actual tablets still on earth?

How does God speak to you? I hear many people say "God told me ----", as if they were hearing God speaking to them personally, even God using their name. I know God speaks to us through His Word, sermons, and nature but do you or most people hear God personally like that? I know the saints did. What am I doing wrong that I don't hear God directly?

How do you know God's love? Growing up in the 50's church with erroneous teachings or I somehow processed it wrong but the fear of God is my default and find it a struggle to know and experience the love of God despite reading of God's unfailing Love and grace in the Scriptures but it gets canceled out by all the fear and wrath passages despite sincere prayer& confession.Does God understand?

I do feel that when you are answering the question concerning holding hands or lifting hands during the Our Father, you should specifically mention that you are addressing "traditional Catholics." I am Catholic Charismatic. I can tell you positively that not only does the congregation hold hands during the Our Father, but we also sing that prayer too, reverently. It's awesome.
