FIRE is the heart of formation at Saint Luke, bringing our entire parish family together to encounter Christ, grow in faith, and learn how to live as His disciples.
The purpose of FIRE is to ignite the faith in every member of our parish family so that, as one Body, we may be set ablaze with a deeper love for God and for one another.
FIRE brings children, teenagers, adults, couples, parents, grandparents, and individuals into one shared journey of formation. We explore the same truths of our Catholic faith, adapted in ways that are meaningful for each age and stage of life.
As we intentionally tend the fire within us, growing in a living and vibrant love for the Lord, something begins to happen. Christ transforms us. He transforms our homes. He transforms our parish. And He sends us to bring His love into the world.
Once a month, our parish family gathers for an evening of faith, community, conversation, and growth.
Introduction
We begin together with a creative and engaging introduction to the night's theme, helping everyone enter into the question, story, or truth we will explore.
Breakout Sessions
We break into groups based on age or state of life. Everyone explores the same central theme, but in a way that is accessible, meaningful, and applicable to where they are in life.
Family Meal
We return to the table for a shared meal and intentional conversation, giving families and individuals the opportunity to talk about what they received and how they can live it out.
FIRE is not simply a monthly event. It is an ongoing rhythm of formation that invites our parish family to grow together throughout the year.
We light the fire.
Our year begins with IGNIGHT, a joyful kickoff that gathers the parish family, casts the vision for the year ahead, and invites us to open ourselves to what the Lord wants to do in us.
We tend the fire.
Month by month, we return to the Lord and to one another for ongoing formation, encounter, conversation, and community.
We prepare for the sacraments.
Alongside the wider FIRE journey, those preparing for the sacraments gather for focused formation that helps them prepare to encounter Christ in the sacramental life of the Church.
We carry the fire.
Our year concludes with a celebration of what God has done among us and a renewed invitation to live what we have received.
Faith formation does not end with childhood or with the reception of a sacrament. Every disciple of Jesus is called to keep growing.
FIRE is not children's religious education with something added for adults. The entire parish is being formed together.
FIRE is part of a larger culture of discipleship at Saint Luke. We encounter Christ, grow deeper in Him, and allow what He has ignited within us to spread beyond ourselves.
Be Formed
Our parish family grows together through ongoing formation in the Catholic faith.
Celebrate

Go Deeper
An opportunity for deeper formation to help us continue exploring Scripture, theology, prayer, and the life of faith.
