Ready to work? Here's how:
We are all called to share our gifts for the building up of the Kingdom of God on earth, the Body of Christ. Service to those in need and service to the Church and the community are necessary for living a holy and dynamic discipleship. In the legacy of Saint Luke's powerful commitment to serve our community, we welcome students of all ages who need service hours to participate in our parish and ministry/organization events. All students are required to receive pre-approval via e-mail from Mandi Troyani, our Ministry Liaison and Youth Minister to ensure that your information is correct and that the organization you are working with knows you will be assisting. Failure to follow this procedure may result in your request for hours being refused.
WHERE SHOULD I VOLUNTEER?
All service performed must be done voluntarily, under the supervision of an adult who has received Archdiocese of New Orleans Safe Environment Training and who has completed a background check. Service hours do not come with payment.
There are many great opportunities at Saint Luke that allow you to gain service hours for school. Complete the information request to the right, and we will contact you with options and guidelines.
