BLAZE nights

FIRE Nights are for the entire parish family and provide ongoing formation for all.

BLAZE Nights, on the other hand, are additional gatherings for those actively preparing for a sacrament. These nights offer more intentional, sacrament-specific formation while remaining deeply connected to the life of the parish.

In most cases, those in BLAZE will attend both:

• FIRE Nights (parish-wide formation)
• BLAZE Nights (sacramental preparation)

Together, these create a full and rich experience of formation — not just learning about the faith, but living it.

BLAZE Nights follow a similar rhythm to FIRE, but with a more focused approach.

Each night is designed to help participants:

• Understand the meaning and beauty of the sacrament
• Encounter God through prayer and reflection
• Learn how to live out the grace of the sacrament in daily life
• Engage in meaningful conversation as individuals and families

Like FIRE, BLAZE is not simply about information — it is about transformation.

BLAZE is for anyone in our parish who is preparing to receive a sacrament, including:

• Children preparing for First Reconciliation and First Communion
• Teens preparing for Confirmation
• Individuals seeking to become Catholic through OCIA or OCIC
• Couples preparing for Marriage

No matter the sacrament, the goal is the same:
to prepare not just for a moment — but for a lifetime of grace.

The sacraments are at the very heart of our Catholic faith. They are not symbols or milestones—they are real encounters with Jesus Christ.

Because of this, preparation matters.

BLAZE exists to ensure that every person who approaches a sacrament does so with faith, understanding, and a heart open to receive all that God desires to give.
