SCHEDULING YOUR EVENT: Our campus is a very busy place! If you are in need of a special venue for your birthday party, wedding reception, or other special event, please contact us right away! Our available days are often booked a year in advance. Fill out the form below to check if our facility is available. It's important to note that we cannot guarantee that you will be able to confirm the rental until the deposit is received and the contract information is signed and received.
TYPES OF EVENTS: Under no circumstances will any of the following be permitted in the rental facilities or on the grounds of Saint Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church:
events that may considered anti-Catholic, or anti-Christian in nature, anti-life, and which do not meet the standards of morality of the Catholic Church
political rallies or events
wedding ceremonies that are not held in the Church and which are not approved by the Pastor of Saint Luke
lewd dress, behavior, music, or videos of any kind
smoking of any kind (vaping of any kind) except in designated areas outside
illegal drugs or paraphernalia of any kind
excessive drinking
any illegal activity of any kind
NOTE:Events held for and/or attended primarily by participants less than 21 years of age must require that all underage guests be accompanied by supervising adults and remain inside the facility or spaces under supervision at all times. Once they leave the campus, they will not be allowed to reenter. Security will enforce this rule.
Violations of the above will result in immediate cancellation of the event or removal of the guilty parties at the discretion of our Police Security Detail, Facilities Manager, or Pastoral Staff. No refunds of any kind will be given in the event of violations to the rules.
An insurance fee is required for all our rental contracts. The minimum insurance fee is $100.00 depending on the number of participants. For Events without DJs, bands, or other performers, or DJs, bands, or other performers who have proof of their own approved insurance, there will be a $150.00 insurance fee. For Events with DJs, bands, or other performers who do not carry their own approved insurance, there will be a $250.00 insurance fee..
Outside catering or self-catering is permitted with limited use of kitchen facilities
All rentals are subject to Date/Time Availability and Event Approval by the Facilities Manager and the Pastor. 50% of contract agreement due at time of rental (non-refundable) due with application.
Final payments are due 30 days prior to the Event. PLEASE NOTE: The final payment is non-refundable, even if the Event is cancelled.
SECURITY DETAIL REQUIREMENT: Events of 50 people or more, events that begin after 5 pm, or events serving alcohol require security provided by St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office paid for by the renter apart from our rental contract. The Sheriff's Office will contact you with information and cost once the contract is signed and deposit is paid. Security Details are $40 per hour with a four-hour minimum.
