In Reconciliation, we encounter the mercy of God who forgives, heals, and restores us.
In the Eucharist, we receive Jesus Christ Himself — His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity — for the very first time.These are not simply milestones to reach, but gifts to receive — marking the beginning of a lifelong relationship with the Lord.

At Saint Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, preparation for these sacraments is not just about one day — it is about forming a life of faith.
Through our parish formation process, we walk with families and individuals step-by-step, helping them to:
- Understand the meaning of the sacraments
- Encounter God’s mercy and presence
- Grow in prayer and participation in the Mass
- Begin living the sacramental life of the Church
Because the sacraments are meant to be lived—not just received.

Every person’s journey is a little different, which is why we offer multiple pathways depending on age and situation. Please select the option below that best describes you or your child:
1st–2nd Grade
For children preparing for First Reconciliation and First Communion in a traditional grade-level setting.
OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children)
For children (typically 3rd-10th grade) who have not yet been baptized or who are beginning their sacramental journey later.
OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)
For adults (11th grade and above) seeking Baptism, First Communion, or full initiation into the Catholic Church.
