      FIRE FORMATORS + MENTORS
This crew of people is responsible for leading FIRE breakout sessions and/or BLAZE groups. There are two types of members:
      • Formators (formerly known as 'catechists') These individuals will be responsible for preparing an intentional formation moment for a specific age group.
      • Mentors These individuals are comprised of those teenagers and young adults who have already been Confirmed and who act as spiritual guides, mentors, etc. for those in younger breakout groups and those adults who are mentors to couples in BLAZE going through Baptismal or Marriage Preparation

      Who can help:
Formators: Those already Confirmed (16+) who have also received Safe Environment Training. We train all our FORMATORS, so no previous experience is necessary.

FIRE + BLAZE Young Mentors: Teenagers who have ALREADY been Confirmed and are feeling called to be a light to younger kids going through FIRE and BLAZE. Safe Environment training is required.

MARRIAGE + BAPTISM Mentors: These adults must be married in the Church (either at first or by convalidation), (for Baptism mentors: with children who are now in First Communion prep, have already received First Communion, and/or Confirmation), and who are actively practicing their sacramental faith.

When: Fire + Blaze Formators as well as FIRE/BLAZE mentors prepare for each session with their groups and attend all FIRE and/or BLAZE nights.

Marriage and Baptism Mentors: Meet with their couples as required by their agreement with the Pastor which is given them at the time of their assignment.
