TEAMS WHO PROVIDE:
FIRE + BLAZE FOOD TEAMS: This crew of people is comprised of those who help provide food and drink for the FIRE Nights. This includes both sponsors and those that seek out sponsors.
Who can help: Adults (18+) who can either find sponsorships for food preparations or those who cook and prepare the meals for FIRE or BLAZE nights
When: There are approximately 16 FIRE and BLAZE nights per academic year (September - May) which includes the FAM INTO FLAME final night celebration. Food Teams serve/contribute as their calendars permit, supporting the effort throughout the school term.

FIRE + BLAZE SET UP TEAM This crew of people is responsible for the physical set-up of chairs, tables, and any other things in collaboration with the Dream-Up Crew
Who can help: Adults and teens (15+) who don't mind a little heavy lifting, tidying up, and getting a job done!
When: There are approximately 8 FIRE nights per academic year (September - May) and/or 8 BLAZE nights per academic year. The Set Up Team usually takes about 2 hours a month to prepare the spaces as needed (BLAZE nights require less time).

FIRE + BLAZE SERVE TEAM This crew is responsible for the immediate preparation and serving of the food and drink.
Who can help: Adults and teens (15+) who don't mind a taking care of others and hosting a large crowd!
When: There are approximately 8 FIRE nights per academic year (September - May) and/or 8 BLAZE nights per academic year. The Serve Team usually takes about 2 hours a month to prepare the serving spaces as needed (BLAZE nights require less time).

FIRE + BLAZE CLEAN UP TEAMS
This crew (which can be the same or different from the Set-Up Crew) is responsible for the taking down and cleaning of the main environment used for the night.
Who can help: Adults and teens (15+) who don't mind a little heavy lifting, tidying up, and getting a job done!
When: There are approximately 8 FIRE nights per academic year (September - May) and/or 8 BLAZE nights per academic year. The Set Up Team usually takes about 2 hours a month to prepare the spaces as needed (BLAZE nights require less time).

TEAMS WHO WITNESS:
FIRE DREAM TEAM: This crew of people is responsible for creating and decorating the space according to the theme of the night.
Who can help: Adults and teens (15+) who enjoy being creative, crafty, artistic, and dynamic! Theater design is what it's all about! The point of this team is to dream BIG!
When: There are approximately 8 FIRE nights per academic year (September - May). The Dream Team plans and prepares the theme at each of these. Planning meetings occur once or twice as needed.

FIRE + BLAZE PRAYER TEAM This crew of people is responsible for interceding on our behalf before, during, and after these FIRE Nights. The prayer team also prepares beautiful reminders for the families that someone is praying for them - and receives intercession request from each family.
Who can help: Adults and teens (15+) who enjoy prayer and devotions - as well as Adoration. Members of this team participate either by being present at events and praying with/listening to FIRE + BLAZE families, or who attend an Adoration moment during FIRE/BLAZE to pray for those attending.
When: There are approximately 8 FIRE nights or 8 BLAZE nights per academic year (September - May). The Prayer Team plans and prepares for each of these. One annual meeting for planning and creating resources may occur.

FIRE PUMP UP TEAM This crew of people is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the first 30 minutes of the night and works closely with the Dream Team. This includes things like introductions, icebreakers, opening prayer, etc.
Who can help: Adults and teens (15+) who enjoy being energetic, friendly, welcoming, and dynamic! Cheerfulness and outgoing personalities are what it's all about! The point of this team is to make sure every member of our FIRE family feels seen, feels welcome - and is pumped up for all the great fun and learning of the night!
When: There are approximately 8 FIRE nights per academic year (September - May). The Pump Up Team plans and prepares the theme at each of these along with the Dream Team. Planning meetings occur once or twice as needed.

FIRE FORMATORS + MENTORS This crew of people is responsible for leading FIRE breakout sessions and/or BLAZE groups. There are two types of members:
Formators (formerly known as 'catechists') These individuals will be responsible for preparing an intentional formation moment for a specific age group.
Mentors These individuals are comprised of those teenagers and young adults who have already been Confirmed and who act as spiritual guides, mentors, etc. for those in younger breakout groups and those adults who are mentors to couples in BLAZE going through Baptismal or Marriage Preparation
Who can help: Formators: Those already Confirmed (16+) who have also received Safe Environment Training. We train all our FORMATORS, so no previous experience is necessary.
FIRE + BLAZE Young Mentors: Teenagers who have ALREADY been Confirmed and are feeling called to be a light to younger kids going through FIRE and BLAZE. Safe Environment training is required.
MARRIAGE + BAPTISM Mentors: These adults must be married in the Church (either at first or by convalidation), (for Baptism mentors: with children who are now in First Communion prep, have already received First Communion, and/or Confirmation), and who are actively practicing their sacramental faith.
When: Fire + Blaze Formators as well as FIRE/BLAZE mentors prepare for each session with their groups and attend all FIRE and/or BLAZE nights.
Marriage and Baptism Mentors: Meet with their couples as required by their agreement with the Pastor which is given them at the time of their assignment.
