Who May Enter The art exhibit is open to artists age 5 and older. Entries will be judged in these age categories:
Kindergarten to First Grade
Second Grade to Third Grade
Fourth Grade to Sixth Grade
Seventh Grade to Eighth Grade
High School
Adult
Only one entry per person/category.
Materials & Creativity
The artwork must be: original, a recent creation, and must not be computer-generated (AI), scanned, or traced. Art should demonstrate the importance of being a part of a "FAMILY".
All painting mediums (paint, oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencils, crayons, etc.) are welcome as long as it meets size criteria.
The theme for this year is: "FAMILY"
Participants of our Painting with Tressie sessions are encouraged to enter their artwork in the ART CONTEST.
Size and Setup
All entries should not exceed 20in. X 24in., mounted.
Artwork must NOT be framed.
Art should not have name, initials, or a title on the front of the piece.
Matting is preferred, but each piece should be mounted.
Velcro may be affixed to the back of the entries for hanging on a fabric panel.
Entry and Display
Art must be dropped off by Monday October 5 by 3:30 pm to the church office.
Art should be labeled clearly with your entry paperwork attached to the back of your piece with the following information:
Your name
Title of your piece with a brief description (please TYPE or PRINT very clearly)
Entries will be displayed in the courtyard classrooms - Friday and Saturday of the Bash weekend for parishioners to vote on and to enjoy.
Judging & Prizes Art will be judged by Our St. Luke Parish Family after all masses the weekend of the Bash. (except Sunday 4pm mass) Winners will be announced on Sunday at the 3:15 pm Awards Ceremony.
After the Bash Art can be picked up on Sunday after judging or at the end of the Bash. Any art pieces not picked up by the end of the Bash will be available in the church office for pickup.
Contest Registration Deadlines
Art Contest DEADLINE: Art must be dropped off to the church office by Monday October 5 at 3:30pm. Paperwork must be filled out clearly and attached to entry.
