![]() | All new: SCARECROW MAKING CONTESTWho May EnterThe contest is open to all ages, families, and ministries! You may enter as an individual, family, group, or ministry team. Only one entry per person/group. Scarecrows must be dropped off by Saturday at 9:00 AM at the designated area at the Family Life Center. Materials & Creativity Scarecrows may be made of any safe, family-friendly materials (straw, fabric, recycled goods, etc.) Be creative! Think funny, traditional, themed, or even holy (we’d love to see saints or virtues come to life). No offensive, scary, or inappropriate decorations, please. Size and Setup Scarecrows should be freestanding (or secured to a stake, hay bale, or chair). Max height: 7 feet; Max width: 5 feet. Must be sturdy enough to stay up through the weekend outdoors. Entry and Display Scarecrows must be dropped off by Saturday at 9:00 AM at the designated area at the Family Life Center. Scarecrows should be labeled clearly with your entry: Your name/group Scarecrow "Name" and a brief description of the scarecrow. ![]() | ART CONTESTWho May EnterThe art exhibit is open to artists age 5 and older. Entries will be judged in these age levels:
Materials & Creativity The artwork must be: original, a recent creation, and must not be computer-generated, scanned, nor traced. Art should demonstrate a veneration of our Lady. All painting mediums will be welcome as long as it meets size criteria. The theme for this year is: "OUR MOTHER MARY" Participants of our Painting with Tressie sessions may enter their artwork from the event. Size and Setup All entries should not exceed 20 in. by 24 in., matted. Artwork must NOT be: framed, nor have name, initials, nor a title on the front of the artwork. Matting is preferred. Velcro may be affixed to the back of the entries for hanging on a fabric panel. Entry and Display Art must be dropped off by Saturday at 9:00 AM at the designated area at the Family Life Center. Art should be labeled clearly with your entry:

![]() | PUMPKIN PAINTING CONTESTWho May EnterThe contest is open to all ages, families, and ministries! You may enter as an individual, family, group, or ministry team. Only one entry per person/group. There is no limit to the size of the pumpkin, but it must be purchased at our Pumpkin Patch. Materials & Creativity Pumpkins are a great medium for painting - and really lend themselves to the creativity of all ages! So, with that in mind, come up with your own theme and use the pumpkin to really express your idea! Themes should be cute, (not offensive, scary, or inappropriate.) You may add inserts to your pumpkin, but should not rely on pre-made items or templates. Do not trace a premade template onto your pumpkin, please. Size and Setup Size is not limited, but the pumpkin should have been purchased at our Pumpkin Patch. Entry and Display Your pumpkin must be dropped off by Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the designated area at the Family Life Center. Your pumpkin should be labeled clearly with your entry:

![]() | LEMON RECIPE CONTESTWho May EnterThe contest is open to all ages! Families are more than welcome to work together to participate! Contestants must be registered by October 10, 2025, at 3:30 pm and must have sufficient items for 18 people turned in by 11:00 AM on October 11th. Judging begins promptly at 12:15 PM. Register on our Lemon Recipe Contest Page. Materials & Creativity Food is a great way to bring people together, and this year's theme: "When you have lemons, you make..." is all about using lemons to bring joy to others. The recipe that you prepare must use LEMONS as a main ingredient - the juice, the zest, the flavor: not just as a garnish. It can be a savory dish, a drink (no alcohol please), or a dessert. Baking and Cooking are special arts and require all kinds of amazing skills. We want to see what you've got! Size and Setup Contestants should provide sufficient items to provide the dish, drink, or dessert for 18 people. It should look appetizing, clean, and delish! Please do not bring your item in a breakable or irreplaceable serving dish/pitcher/etc. Participants are required to pick up their dishes/pitchers/etc if they want the items returned after the Bash. Entry and Display Your prepared dish/drink must be dropped off by by 11:00 AM on October 11th at the designated area at the Family Life Center.
