All the sacraments are special, but there's something so powerful about this particular sacrament of Reconciliation. It's a reminder over and over that God loves us enough to consistently kneel down and help us get up when we fail and fall - because we are worthy of the gift to attempt to be as holy as Jesus. Your child and your family is called not only to be loved - but to be loved NO MATTER WHAT. If we as parents can embrace the power of being forgiven many times, we can teach our children that we are capable of moving forward. This is an important BLAZE night. Your child's First Reconciliation will be on March 15, 2026. Take the time tonight to write it on the family calendar, and plan on a special new tradition in your family following First Reconciliation. Go to confession once a month, and then go grab a pizza together - or maybe even a special treat! Reconciliation is an invitation to grace!
