ADVISORY
Pastoral Council
The mission of the Pastoral Council is to assist the Pastor by providing insight regarding the needs of the parishioners. Specifically, the Pastoral Council helps debrief major pastoral events in order and to make parish life more fruitful moving forward. Through regular meetings, the Pastoral Council prays for the parish and parishioners, discusses the current issues and needs of the parishioners, discusses the current issues and needs of the parish, and offers general ideas on how to improve. Because the mission of the Pastoral Council regards feedback, it is most appropriate that this team reflects the demographics of the parish.
Who can help: The Pastor appoints members to the Council and has contributors to the Council as needed. Adults with experience in the life of the parish, who are willing to serve, may contact our parish office.
When: The Council meets twice annually according to a fixed schedule set down by the Pastor.

Finance Council The mission of the Finance Council is to assist the Pastor by assessing the financial status and projected financial needs of the parish in order to accomplish fruitful and lasting ministry. They are tasked with providing counsel to the Pastor regarding the present and future budget, fundraising, tithing opportunities and resources, best parish practices for saving and investing, and
other information in the realm of finance. Given the mission of the Finance Council, members should be experienced with finances, preferably by degree or professional experience.
Who can help: The Finance Council requires specialized skills and certification in financial matters (accounting, financial advising, investment), and for this reason, adults wishing to offer their service are interviewed for the position.
When: The Council meets twice annually according to a fixed schedule set down by the Pastor.

Building & Grounds Team
The mission of the Building and Grounds Team is to assist the Pastor by assessing the campus and its facilities, in order to ensure fruitful and lasting ministry. They are tasked with providing counsel to the Pastor regarding the building and maintenance plan.
Who can help: Given the mission of the Building and Grounds Team, members should be experienced with engineering, contracting, construction, maintenance, architecture, horticulture, landscaping, or other backgrounds helpful to providing advice regarding the physical plant of the parish.
When: The Team meets twice annually according to a fixed schedule set down by the Pastor.

PLANNING
SPARK (Welcome) Team: To meet the pastoral need "I want to belong..."
The mission of the Spark (Welcome) Team is to assist the Pastor by welcoming new parishioners into the life of our Parish Family through planned events and programs, as well as assisting the ongoing communication with existing parishioners. They are tasked with helping to recruit volunteers to lead and form sub-teams in order to be most fruitful.

FIRE (Ministry) Team: To meet the pastoral need "I want to draw closer..."
The mission of the FIRE (Ministry) Team is to assist the Pastor by elaborating on the current vision and mission of the Parish through events, programs, and consistent communication to the various ministries of the Parish Family. They are tasked with helping to recruit volunteers to lead
and form sub-teams in order to be most fruitful.

WILDFIRE (Evangelization) Team: To meet the pastoral need "I want to make a difference..."
The mission of the Wildfire (Evangelization) Team is to assist the Pastor by incorporating all those outside of our Parish Family into the current vision and mission of the Parish through events, programs, and outreach. They are tasked with helping to recruit volunteers to lead and form sub-teams in order to be most fruitful.
